The relationship between parental performance and the level of ambition among middle school students

Abstract

The current study aims to determine the relationship between parental performance and the level of ambition among middle school students. The study reached results including that there is no relationship between parental performance in the image of the father in all dimensions, which are: Parental knowledge- Parental expectation
Parental monitoring- Parental discipline- Parental psychological control- Satisfaction with parental control) And the level of ambition, and There is no relationship between parental performance and the image of the mother in each of the dimensions (Material knowledge - Matrenal expectation - Material discipline) and There is a relationship between parental performance and the image of the mother at a significant level (0.01) in the dimension Material psychological control At a significance level (0.05) in each dimension Satisfaction with Material control- Material monitoring.
- There are no statistically significant differences between the average scores of males and females on the ambition level scale For middle school students.
- There are no statistically significant differences between the average scores of the father and mother’s qualifications on parental performance scale in all dimensions of the scale.
